When they are younger, In Ha murders a gang leader after trying to avenge the death of Su Yeon’s father. He goes to jail for seven years ,and the two fatefully reunite many years later. This series was a huge success in Korea and won the Grand Prize at the 2003 Baeksang Arts Awards. People couldn’t help but fall in love with In Ha and Su Yeon’s love story. Their desire to be together, but having so many obstacles getting in the way, was so heartbreaking. Song Hye Kyo’s ability to portray Su Yeon was well-received as she even won the Top Excellence Award at the 2003 SBS Drama Awards. Song Hye Kyo is a South Korean actress. In 1996, the 14-year-old Song, then a third-year junior high school student, won first place in the SunKyung Smart Model Contest, and she made her entertainment debut as a model for the school uniform company. This led to her being cast in a small role in her first television drama, First Love. Since then, she would continue to star in a string of various dramas and sitcoms, but it wasn't until the KBS drama "Autumn Tale" in 2000 that Song rose to fame throughout Asia. Song's popularity continued to climb when she played a leading role in the poker drama "All In", alongside Lee Byung Hun. Song co-starred with singer Rain in the popular romantic comedy series "Full House". After the pan-Asian success of "Full House", Song starred in the movie "My Girl and I", which was panned by audiences and critics alike. Song went on a 2-year hiatus, returning to acting in the movie version of "Hwang Jin Yi", which was released in South Korea in 2007.
